Concert Season Information and Schedules

Concert Season begins in November. Students will be required to attend a weekly sectional rehearsal and a Full Band rehearsal which will be each Wednesday. These rehearsals are part of the band class and are graded. Additional rehearsals will be added during concert and contest weeks. These dates will all be on the Band Calendar.

We present a concert in December at the Fine Arts Winter Showcase, a concert in late-March, a pre-UIL concert in late-April, and a concert in May at the Spring Fine Arts Showcase. 

Contests dates are early-April for the FBISD Concert Band Festival, and late-April for the UIL Concert and Sight Reading Contest.

Students are required to attend all of these performances.
