Kendall LeJeune (Percussion Technician)
is a graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi
in Hattiesburg, MS, where he studied Music and Public
Relations.
A native of Lafayette, LA, Kendall is
an alum of Acadiana High School where he served as the
Principal Drum Major for three years. Kendall went on to
be a conductor for the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle
Corps from 2005-2006 and also served as a Drum Major for
The University of Southern Mississippi's Marching Band -
The Pride.
An active adjudicator, Kendall
currently serves as a General Effect judge for the Texas
Color Guard Circuit (TCGC), the Gulfcoast Judges'
Association (GJA) and the United States Scholastic Band
Association (USSBA). Kendall works in all areas of the
marching arts as a sought-after clinician, ranging from
program design and coordination to marching, percussion
and leadership instruction. Kendall is a reputable
educator and adjudicator in the field of Drum Major
instruction and is currently on staff of the University
of Texas- Arlington Drum Major camp.
During his time at Southern Miss,
Kendall worked for the Southern Mississippi Symphony
Orchestra as the Corporate Sponsorship Coordinator and
Public Relations Intern . Serving as a percussionist in
the orchestra, Kendall has shared the stage with such
performers as Patti LaBelle, Dionne Warwick, Patti
Austin, The Pointer Sisters, Joshua Bell and Sir James
Galway, to name a few.
Professional affiliations include
National Band Association (NBA), Texas Music Educator's
Association (TMEA), Percussive Arts Society (PAS) and
Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Kendall's
personal and professional influences include his sister,
Alayiah LeJeune, Jody Trahan Kovarik, Melissa and Jeff
Prosperie, Dr. Mike Lopinto and Dr. Gerald Waguespack.
Kendall is currently a Music Education
student at the University of St. Thomas.
